Sub Assemblre $20+

Located in Weymouth, MA

Position Summary:
Assemble, test and repair electronic components and switches.

Soldering experience required!
Pay is $20-$23 DOE

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
•    Work from assembly prints, perform point-to-point inspection, work from pictorials, wire diagrams, sample schematic drawings, samples and verbal instructions.
•    Perform final inspection on components by inspecting all parts to ensure that they are dust free, assembled to specifications and ensure that all electronic components are treated to the latest specifications.
•    Perform simple wiring operations including stripping, stalking, crimping, soldering, and adjusting on light electrical apparatus and subassemblies using common hand tools and soldering irons.
•    Operate grinders, drill presses and other small hand tools.
•    Ensure good quality and maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
•    Test all products to the latest test procedure and record the data.
•    Train employees in all areas of assembly and soldering.
•    Establish initial setting and make various adjustments depending on the type of controls.
•    Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.
•    Work in a team environment with minimal supervision
•    Ability to cross-train in other assembly areas

Secondary Responsibilities:
•    Work in other assembly areas as required

Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
•    Level of knowledge that is usually associated with a High school or Vocational school 
•    One to three years of testing and assembly experience.  
•    Ability to use various hand tools and small presses.  
•    Must be capable of reading blue prints and bills of materials.

1st shift
-    Summer Hours until end of September
o    7:00 AM – 4:15 PM Monday thru Thursday
o    7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Fridays
-    Normal Hours
o    7:30 AM – 4:15 PM Monday thru Friday
