Now Hiring: Experienced HVAC Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician for a local Housing Authority. If you have a strong background in HVAC repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting and enjoy making a difference in residential communities, we want to hear from you.

Position Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on residential HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Install HVAC components and systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency maintenance calls.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Assist with general maintenance duties when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience required.
• EPA Certification required (Universal preferred).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience in residential, apartment, multi-family, or public housing maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC trade school certification.
• Experience with heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioning systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and maintenance repairs.
