Maintenance Mechanic

Located in Bridgewater, NJ

Salary: $30/hr

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic in Bridgewater, NJ. A well-established metal heat treating company is looking for experienced, dedicated, and hard-working individuals who want to continue their career while earning a great paycheck.

 

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

Competitive Compensation Offered!

• $30/hr.

 

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade mechanical and electrical equipment, including sourcing and installing replacement parts.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance on industrial plant equipment.
• Maintain and organize maintenance supplies and inventory.

 

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience with pumps, motors, and compressed air systems.
• Experience with oxygen/acetylene torch cutting.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns, including off-hours calls.
• Proficiency with computers for record keeping and documentation.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
