Building Maintenance Technician

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Building Maintenance Technician. 

We are looking for a hard-working, dependable Building Maintenance Worker to work with a facilities management team for a property management company on Old City. In this role, your main task is to prep and make-ready apartments for turns and move-ins. 

Responsibilities

1.       General maintenance of units (i.e. electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair)
2.       Troubleshoot, repair and or replace fixtures, toilets, light switches, appliances, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, etc.
3.       Light carpentry work.
4.       Replaces or repairs windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets.
5.       Checks applicable appliances and informs Supervisor of problems.
6.       Checks faucets sink plugs and repairs/replaces as necessary. Replaces washers when needed.  Performs exterior repairs to sinks, bathtubs, etc., when warranted.
7.        Repairs or replaces curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, etc.
8.       Inspects bathroom tiles, performs minor repairs/replacements.

Requirements:

High level of working experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry and other general maintenance repairs. 
At least 3 years previous building maintenance experience required.
Valid drivers license and transportation are required.
