Mechanic Welder - 1st Shift

Located in Waukegan, IL

Salary: $30/HR

Experience: 2+ years repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment (or an equivalent mix of education and experience).

Hours: M-F  7am-3:30pm and MUST be available for OT

• Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, suspension, and HVAC.
• Use computer software and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Outfit specialized vehicles (e.g., police cars) with radios, emergency lights, and sirens.
• Prepare snow removal equipment for seasonal use.
• Handle road-service calls and after-hours emergency repairs as assigned.
• Track parts inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate repair logs and work orders.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
