What You’ll Be Doing

• Process routine and complex teller transactions accurately and efficiently while following bank policies and procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist with account questions, requests, and problem-solving.
• Handle face-to-face banking transactions and assist customers with opening, updating, and closing accounts.
• Identify customer needs and recommend or refer appropriate bank products and services.
• Accurately balance an assigned cash drawer and assist with resolving discrepancies or variances.
• Maintain appropriate cash levels according to bank policies and procedures.
• Process night deposits using required dual-control procedures.
• Balance and replenish the ATM and help ensure it remains operational.
• Support branch operations by scanning documents and operating proof equipment as needed.
• Assist customers with safe deposit box access, rentals, renewals, payments, and related account maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer account information and follow all applicable banking regulations.
• Rotate between branch locations as needed.
• Participate in bank training, including sales and customer service training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of cash handling, banking, teller, or related customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional approach.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information.
• Resourceful, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products or services.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn banking software and equipment.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and the importance of following established procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
