Temporary Data Entry Specialist (2-Month Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a temporary two-month contract assignment. This position supports our Customer Service team by accurately entering and processing data across multiple systems to ensure customer orders and shipments are completed within established deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize 10-key skills for rapid and precise information processing.
• Enter, update, and verify information across multiple computer systems.
• Review records for completeness and accuracy.
• Meet daily, weekly, and project-based productivity goals.
• Ensure orders, requests, and transactions are processed within required timelines.
• Support shipment processing deadlines, ensuring items are prepared and shipped within 7 days.
• Communicate with internal team members regarding data discrepancies or missing information.

Qualifications

• Previous data entry, administrative support, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong 10-key and keyboarding skills.
• Comfortable navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Work Environment

• Open cubicle office setting within the Customer Service department.
• Fast-paced environment focused on meeting shipping and processing deadlines.
• Primarily seated, head-down data entry work requiring concentration and accuracy.
• Collaborative team atmosphere with support from CSR staff and leadership.

Compensation

• Up to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
