Belt Technician - 1st Shift

South Charlotte, NC | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Belt Technician for a growing belt fabrication and industrial solutions facility in South Charlotte. This is a hands-on position ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with tools, measurements, fabrication equipment, and industrial products. Candidates who take pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and working in a team environment are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: 

Belt Technician

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair industrial conveyor belts and related components
• Measure, cut, splice, and prepare belting materials to customer specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Receive, organize, and verify incoming materials and inventory
• Assist with packaging, shipping, and preparing customer orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
• Support team production goals and complete projects on schedule
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

Belt Technician

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized fabrication techniques
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow work instructions
• Basic math and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working in an industrial environment
