An Edmonton client is seeking a reliable Overhead Crane Operator to join their team.
Overhead Crane Operator Highlights:
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move, position, and stage structural steel products throughout the paint area
- Lift and position bundled steel products for the dipping and painting process
- Bundle and secure materials prior to movement and finishing
- Safely handle long, heavy, and awkward steel loads
- Follow established rigging, lifting, and material-handling procedures
- Stage finished products in designated areas for the next stage of production or shipping
- Support the team with additional production tasks as required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of overhead crane operating experience required
- Experience operating cranes in a steel, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment
- Comfortable handling large and heavy steel product
- Strong attention to detail and safety focus
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the worksite
Hours & Wage:
- Full-time position
- $27+/hour
