Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Savannah, GA. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness, functionality, and overall condition of facilities, equipment, and work areas.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, takes pride in their work, and can identify and resolve maintenance issues while providing professional service to our clients and team members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance throughout assigned facilities.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Report major repairs, safety concerns, and equipment issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and maintenance activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and management.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, commercial building maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, stand, and perform physical maintenance tasks as required.
