This Buyer/Planner role helps ensure materials arrive on time, inventory stays accurate, and production schedules stay on track. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to support day-to-day operations and keep manufacturing running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, customer service, or administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of procurement and production planning, strong analytical skills, and experience working within ERP/MRP systems (Oracle experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, parts, and services for production
• Create and track purchase orders
• Monitor inventory levels and help prevent shortages
• Schedule production work orders and support manufacturing timelines
• Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing, and quality concerns
• Resolve order, inventory, and invoice discrepancies
• Update purchasing and planning information within the ERP system
• Work with production, engineering, customer service, and quality teams
• Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of purchasing, inventory, procurement, or production planning
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems required (Oracle preferred)
• Previous manufacturing, inventory, administrative, or supply chain experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
