Temporary Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Schedule: Full-Time
Assignment: Approximately 90 days, with potential to extend based on project needs
Pay: $33+/hr DOE 

 

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Temporary Quality Assurance Specialist to support a local healthcare organization with quality, compliance, and administrative projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with healthcare policies and documentation, and enjoys helping improve systems and processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Support quality assurance, compliance, and risk management projects
  • Help organize and maintain policies, procedures, forms, and other documentation
  • Assist with moving and centralizing training materials into MedTrainer
  • Help build, organize, and update forms and workflows in Monday.com
  • Collect, organize, track, and report quality and operational information
  • Assist with audits, accreditation preparation, documentation, and follow-up
  • Track complaints, incidents, corrective actions, and other quality-related items
  • Assist with updating and organizing policies and procedures
  • Help coordinate training and quality-related activities
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and other documentation for leadership
  • Work with staff and leadership across departments to help improve processes and keep projects moving
  • Perform general administrative and project-based tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, business, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare quality, compliance, healthcare operations, administration, or a related area
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with data, documents, policies, and spreadsheets
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable learning and working in technology platforms and databases
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Tribal healthcare, Indian Health Service (IHS), FQHC, or community-based healthcare
  • Experience with healthcare quality or accreditation
  • Experience with MedTrainer, Monday.com, or similar platforms
  • Experience organizing policies, procedures, forms, or training programs
  • Knowledge of quality improvement practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA
  • CPHQ, Lean, or similar certification

Assignment Details

This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 90 days, with the possibility of an extension depending on project needs.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can come in, quickly understand existing processes, bring organization to projects, build out systems, centralize information, and help get important quality and compliance projects completed.

Additional Requirements

Selected candidates must meet applicable healthcare and organizational requirements, including background screening, confidentiality requirements, TB testing and immunization requirements, and mandatory reporting requirements.

Indian and Tribal Preference applies. Documentation must be provided with the application to qualify for preference.
