Warehouse & Delivery Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Warehouse & Delivery Specialist for a local client. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and providing excellent customer service. No previous experience is required, though moving, furniture delivery, appliance installation, or warehouse experience is a plus!

Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

Job Duties

Delivery Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture and household items to customers' homes
• Safely unload, carry, and set up furniture at delivery locations
• Navigate doorways, stairways, and tight spaces while protecting customer property
• Provide professional and courteous customer service while in clients' homes
• Work as part of a team to complete deliveries efficiently and safely

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Stock and organize inventory
• Shelve incoming products
• Assist with unloading freight shipments
• Perform basic inventory and warehouse organization tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work well with coworkers and customers
• Ability to safely lift and carry heavy items using proper lifting techniques
• Home appliance, furniture moving, delivery, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and carry 50-100 lbs
• Occasionally lift up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday
• Sit for periods of time while traveling between delivery locations
• Ability to perform physical labor in both warehouse and delivery environments

• For candidates operating company vehicles, driving record screening may be conducted, including review of DUI, reckless driving, or careless driving violations
