Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Delivery Assistant to help deliver and move appliances into apartment buildings and residential properties. This is a physically demanding, seasonal position ideal for someone who enjoys active work and being part of a team.

As a Delivery Assistant, you will work alongside a driver to safely transport, unload, and move appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and stoves. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable lifting heavy items throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery and installation of appliances
• Move appliances into apartment buildings and residential units
• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Follow safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy appliances on a regular basis
• Comfortable working in apartment buildings, stairwells, and tight spaces
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Moving, delivery, warehouse, or construction experience is a plus but not required
