Location: Easton, PA

Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30PM 

Pay: $26.50-$28.50/hr

 

Purpose and Scope: Responsible for set-up and operation of conventional and CNC machines. Machine parts to comply with company quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Corporate Responsibility:

Job Functions:
1. Be able to perform all duties listed under the Machinist B job description.
2. Set-up manual and CNC machines where no prior set-up instruction is available. The set-up shall conform to the production department, quality and safety procedures.
3. Creation of programs at the machines.
4. Be able to design and build fixtures and equipment for new jobs and process improvements.
5. Runs production jobs according to company quality standards and procedures.
6. Performs first piece inspections to comply with specifications using precision measuring instruments.
7. Identifies and corrects machining problems.
8. Maintains and sharpens production tooling.
9. Assists in training Machinists B and C.
10. Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
11. Identifies and provides input for process improvements in order to increase efficiency.
12. Uses safe machining practices and maintains housekeeping standards.
13. Communicate with supervisors and peers.
14. Other duties as assigned.
