We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Painter/Coater to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying industrial coatings, paints, and protective finishes to a variety of equipment, structures, and components. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating applications while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Essential Job Duties:

• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, grinding, blasting, and masking as required.
• Apply primers, paints, epoxies, and specialty coatings using spray equipment, brushes, and rollers.
• Mix coatings and paints according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect surfaces before and after coating application to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate and maintain painting and coating equipment.
• Measure coating thickness and verify proper coverage.
• Follow project specifications, work orders, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial painting, coating, sandblasting, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial coatings, paints, and surface preparation methods.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Experience operating spray painting equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
