We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG Welder to join our team in Lubbock, Texas. The MIG Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding processes, metal fabrication, and the safe operation of welding and shop equipment.

Monday - Friday 6am-5pm 

18.00-23.00hr 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metal materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components for fabrication projects.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and structural requirements.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including grinders, saws, drill presses, and cutting tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Identify and report equipment issues or material defects.
• Assist with shop and field fabrication projects as needed.
• Meet production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and calipers.
• Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
