Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mask Production Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position plays a critical role in the preparation and protection of aluminum, titanium, and steel components prior to chemical processing. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, production, quality inspection, blueprint reading, or aerospace environments and possess strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, degrease, and prepare aluminum, titanium, and steel aerospace components before the masking process begins.
• Ensure parts are properly prepared for downstream chemical processing operations.
• Apply temporary chemical-resistant protective coatings to aerospace components.
• Dip, spray, or manually apply proprietary liquid maskants, tapes, caps, shields, and plugs according to work instructions and specifications.
• Use razor blades, utility knives, templates, and precision tools to score, trim, and remove sections of masking material.
• Read and interpret aerospace blueprints, manufacturing drawings, job travelers, and work orders.
• Verify masking locations, dimensions, tolerances, and processing requirements.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout the production process.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, scales, and other measuring instruments to verify specifications and ensure a high-quality, defect-free finish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing work instructions and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work with precision hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and chemical processing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work with chemicals and chemical-resistant coatings.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to handle and move production materials and components as needed.
