Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Welder II for a manufacturing facility in Covington. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder with experience working on stainless steel and carbon steel materials using MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel and carbon steel parts and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and welding procedures
• Produce quality welds in various welding positions
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Use MIG, TIG, Flux Core, Stick, and oxy-acetylene welding equipment
• Grind, clean, and finish welded components
• Troubleshoot welding equipment as needed
• Maintain production and quality records
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical school training preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and safely

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment
• Ability to wear required PPE and welding gear
