Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and personable Inside Sales / Warehouse Associate to join a wholesale flooring provider in Baton Rouge. This hybrid position splits time between hands-on warehouse material handling and counter sales/customer service. If you enjoy a balanced role where you can operate machinery, assist walk-in customers, and process orders on the computer, this full-time temp-to-perm opportunity is a great fit!

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse & Operations: Safe operation of a forklift to move inventory, pick tile orders, load and unload trucks, and stage materials according to work orders.

• Counter Sales & Customer Service: Greet and assist walk-in clients, take customer payments, create work orders, and answer phone inquiries with excellent customer service.

• Administrative Support: Enter customer details, work orders, and sales data into the computer system accurately and efficiently.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all customer orders are selected accurately and packaged properly for pickup or delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience or transferable material handling skills.

• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills, confident telephone demeanor, and comfortable assisting customers face-to-face.

• Computer Skills: Tech-savvy with a strong ability to learn new sales and inventory software quickly.

• Dress Code: Jeans or work pants (no holes/rips), plain solid-colored shirt, and closed-toe shoes.

• Pre-Employment Screening: Must be willing to submit to a standard background check and a 5-panel drug screen.
