Location: Covington, LA
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced Fabricator II to join a growing manufacturing team in Covington. If you have experience fabricating and welding stainless steel and carbon steel products and can work from blueprints and drawings, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, assemble, and weld metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Perform layout, cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding operations
• Work with stainless steel and carbon steel materials
• Use MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding processes
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical school training preferred
• At least 1 year of fabrication and/or welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, bend, walk, and move throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, dust, and noise
• Ability to wear required PPE and safety equipment
