Accounting Clerk

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $25–$30/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their team.

Accounting Clerk Highlights:

• Process accounts receivable, including client payments, e-transfers, EFTs, and credits
• Process accounts payable, including cheques, credit cards, and EFTs
• Complete month-end processing and prepare client statements
• Communicate with clients regarding invoices and monthly statements
• Manage daily cash and reconcile point-of-sale transactions
• Prepare and process bank deposits
• Reconcile payments to government departments and other transactions
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• Maintain payroll records and support payroll processing
• Administer company benefits

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Microsoft Dynamics experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patient and professional when communicating with clients

Hours & Wage:

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• $25–$30/hour
