Salary: $19-20/hour
A hydraulic and industrial hose company in Fort Worth is looking for an experienced Counter Sales Specialist. This is a hands-on position working directly with customers while also building and assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift with a half-day Saturday every other weekHours: Guaranteed weekly overtimePay: $19-20/hour
Help walk-in and call-in customers find the correct hoses, fittings, adapters and parts
Build, cut, crimp and test hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies
Identify fittings, thread types, hose sizes and pressure ratings
Measure parts using calipers, thread gauges and tape measures
Enter orders, quotes and inventory information into the computer system
Check inventory and locate/order parts as needed
Help with receiving, stocking and general warehouse duties
Previous hydraulic or industrial hose experience required
Hands-on experience building and crimping hose assemblies
Able to identify hydraulic fittings and thread types
Knowledge of NPT, JIC, ORFS, metric, BSPP or similar fittings
Comfortable using calipers, thread pitch gauges and crimp charts
Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day
Good customer service and communication skills
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
