Robotic Welder & Programmer

We are seeking an experienced Robotic Welder & Programmer for a hands-on production role combining robotic welding programming with manual MIG welding and fabrication. This position requires someone who can program and troubleshoot robotic welding cells while also supporting production on the shop floor.

Position Summary

The Robotic Welder & Programmer will set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment while also performing manual MIG welding. This person will develop weld programs, adjust fixtures and welding parameters, run production parts, and help improve welding quality and efficiency.

Essential Functions

• Set up and program robotic welding cells using a teach pendant
• Create and adjust weld paths, sequences, and welding parameters
• Troubleshoot robotic welding issues and equipment faults
• Perform hands-on MIG (GMAW) welding and fabrication
• Read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical instructions
• Set up fixtures and run first-article and production parts
• Inspect welds and make adjustments to maintain quality
• Perform basic robotic welding equipment maintenance and calibration
• Assist with process improvements and fixture design

Skills & Experience Required

• 2–3 years of hands-on robotic welding programming experience
• Experience with systems such as FANUC, Yaskawa/Motoman, Lincoln, Miller, or Panasonic
• Teach-pendant programming experience required
• Minimum 2 years of production MIG welding experience
• Strong ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Robotic welding troubleshooting and setup experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to weld quality
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: AWS welding certification, robotic programming training, Lean Manufacturing, fixture design, or offline robotic programming experience.
