We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector I for a manufacturing/fabrication environment. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.

Position Summary

The Quality Inspector will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts and finished products. This position requires someone who can confidently use precision measuring tools, read mechanical drawings, and identify quality issues.

Essential Functions

• Inspect incoming materials, manufactured parts, and finished products
• Identify, document, and control non-conforming products
• Perform final inspections before products are released for shipment
• Use calipers, micrometers, rulers, tape measures, precision squares, and gauges
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as required
• Follow established safety and ISO 9001 quality procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• 3–5 years of welding and/or quality control experience in manufacturing or fabrication
• Experience using precision inspection and measuring tools
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Welding, forklift, and/or overhead crane experience or certifications.
