Job Title: Secondary Operator (2nd Shift)
Pay Rate: $16/hr + 10% shift differential
Schedule/Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Employment Type: Evaluation Hire (Temp-to-Hire)
Summary:
Join a growing production team as a Secondary Operator on 2nd shift. This position involves deburring, washing, blasting, sorting, and inspecting machined parts while ensuring all products meet customer specifications and company standards. Mostly seated work, but some standing and walking around required also.
Responsibilities:
- Deburr machined parts using a drill press, deburring machines, and hand tools.
- Wash, blast, sort, and process production parts according to specifications.
- Inspect products using microscopes and various measuring gauges.
- Operate multiple jobs throughout the shift while maintaining quality standards.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding quality concerns and job status.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with small parts and maintain attention to detail.
- Comfortable using hand tools, drill presses, and deburring equipment.
- Ability to lift 20-40 lbs. as needed.
- Willingness to perform mostly seated work with occasional standing and walking.
- Hard-working, dedicated, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
