Work Site: South Clearwater 
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM to 1:00 A.M.  (30-minute unpaid lunch)

About the Opportunity

Express Employment Professionals is seeking four skilled MIG Welders to join our manufacturing client producing structural steel products. This is an excellent opportunity for welders who take pride in quality workmanship, can read and follow welding specifications, and are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

All welding equipment and required PPE will be provided. Candidates must successfully complete an onsite weld test before placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel components and assemblies.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• Experience welding structural steel preferred.
• Ability to pass an onsite weld test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout the shift.

Work Environment

• Indoor manufacturing facility.
• Non-air-conditioned production environment.
• Steel toe shoes are required.
• Welding equipment and PPE provided by the employer.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, and maneuver materials.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the position.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around welding equipment and steel products.
