Woodworking Finisher - 1st Shift

Located in Waukegan, IL

Salary: $25.70.HR

Must have previous experience working with wood or in a woodworking environment.

Hours: 1st Shift M-F 7am-3:30pm

• Sand, stain, seal, paint, and finish wood products and components.
• Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning.
• Apply stains, paints, lacquers, varnishes, and other wood-finishing products.
• Operate spray guns and other finishing equipment.
• Mix and match stains, paints, and finishes to achieve the required color and appearance.
• Inspect finished products for scratches, imperfections, color consistency, and overall quality.
• Perform touch-ups and rework as needed.
• Follow drawings, work orders, and customer specifications.
• Maintain finishing equipment, spray guns, and work areas.
• Properly handle and store paints, stains, solvents, and other finishing materials.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE and ventilation requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-free finishing area.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Work with other woodworking and production team members to complete projects.
