What You’ll Be Doing

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Fusion 360
• Develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication plans for steel projects
• Convert sketches, measurements, and project requirements into detailed CAD drawings
• Prepare drawings and files for cutting, welding, bending, and fabrication
• Review designs for accuracy, fit, dimensions, and manufacturability
• Make revisions based on field measurements and fabrication requirements
• Work closely with welders, fabricators, and management to resolve design issues
• Maintain organized CAD files and project revisions
• Ensure drawings are accurate and ready for production

What We’re Looking For

• CAD experience required
• Autodesk Fusion 360 experience strongly preferred
• Experience with steel fabrication, welding, or metal manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Strong understanding of dimensions, measurements, and tolerances
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to visualize how CAD designs translate into fabricated steel components
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a shop environment and communicating with production staff
