Forklift Operator

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $17.00/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team.

Forklift Operator Highlights:

• Pick and move orders using a forklift
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
• Inspect forklift equipment and report maintenance needs
• Tally orders accurately using strong math and counting skills
• Verify products and orders with close attention to detail
• Spend approximately 50% of the shift operating a forklift
• Perform general warehouse duties for the remaining time
• Manually move products weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs.)

Requirements:

• Previous forklift operating experience
• Forklift certification is preferred
• WHMIS certification is preferred
• Strong math and counting skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 25 kg (55 lbs.)
• Hardworking, reliable, punctual, and honest
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hours & Wage:

• Daytime shift
• $17.00/hour to start
