$65,000 - $85,000 Base Salary + Commission Opportunities

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a company in the food processing equipment industry seeking an experienced Food Equipment Sales Manager. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with experience selling capital equipment and developing relationships within food manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales opportunities within assigned territories.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase customer loyalty and business growth.
• Manage territory sales strategies to meet and exceed company objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities within food processing and manufacturing facilities.
• Conduct customer site visits and assessments as part of the proposal and sales process.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and Accounting teams to ensure a smooth order process.
• Move prospects through the sales cycle from initial contact to successful close.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and support.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of successful sales experience within the food processing industry.
• Experience selling customized capital equipment preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of sales growth and business development.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills.
• Degree in Food Processing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 80%, including occasional international travel.
• Must not have an active non-compete agreement with a previous employer.
