2nd Shift Die Cutter Operator

Pay: $18.00 per hour 
Schedule: Monday-Friday / 1:00 PM-9:30 PM
Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

A printing company in Vernon is seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to operate a guillotine cutter and ensure materials are accurately cut according to job specifications. The ideal candidate has mechanical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and adjust guillotine cutting machines
• Load, align, and prepare materials for cutting
• Set machine speeds, blade positions, and pressure as needed
• Measure and cut materials accurately according to job specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Sort nonconforming products
• Perform basic cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance
• Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance
• Assist with organizing and storing materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and production procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous cutter/guillotine operator experience preferred
• Mechanical skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to use a ruler and accurately measure materials
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and job specifications
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to understand and communicate directions in English
• Must wear safety glasses and steel-toe shoes
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
