Warehouse Forklift

Salary: $21-$28

• Operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks, to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Manage order picking tasks using specialized equipment such as <PERSON> pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Assist with warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory and maintaining stock levels.
• Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking, order processing, and data entry.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols for materials handling.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve overall efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, or similar machinery.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes and order picking procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements.
• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is preferred.
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged standing or operating equipment.
• Valid forklift certification or relevant training is highly desirable.
