We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Technician/Specialist to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role is critical in supporting manufacturing operations through inspection, process control, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to identify trends and prevent quality issues.
- Conduct regular audits, testing, sampling, and assessments to verify product conformity.
- Support process improvement and corrective action initiatives.
- Perform spot inspections throughout production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, Material Test Reports (MTRs), Certificates of Conformance (COCs), and related documentation.
- Verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring tools and advanced inspection equipment.
- Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure traceability of materials and products from receipt through shipment.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to maintain quality at the source.
- Support compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Machining, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with SPC, inspection methods, and quality documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and laser measurement technology.
- Knowledge of supplier quality management and quality management systems.
- Understanding of machining processes and production workflows.
