Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CDL B Driver for a direct hire opportunity with a local Dubuque-area company.

This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends, and the opportunity to combine driving responsibilities with hands-on work supporting daily operations.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Typically 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• No weekends
• Occasional overtime available

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks and sweeper trucks
• Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Assist with loading, unloading, and securing materials
• Support crews with general labor duties as needed
• Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records and vehicle documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license required
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred, but candidates with automatic transmission experience will be considered
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor in addition to driving duties
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent entry and exit of commercial vehicles throughout the day

Seasonal Work Schedule

Work remains busy throughout the construction season. Hours typically slow between Thanksgiving and May, when schedules may be reduced to approximately 2-3 days per week.
