Electrical Control Panel Assembler

Pay: $25.00–$29.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of electrical assembly, control panel wiring, or related electrical experience and be comfortable working independently to build high-quality panels from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications
Independently build standard control panels from prints and schematics
Install DIN rail, wire duct, wire-way covers, and electrical components
Layout and mount components within control panels and enclosures
Drill, tap, cut, and modify sub-panels and enclosures as needed for component installation
Select appropriate hardware, drill sizes, and mounting methods
Install pre-processed wire kits and correctly interpret printed wire identification
Hand-wire panels directly from electrical schematics
Perform manual crimping of terminals, ferrules, and common lug sizes using approved tools
Use basic hand tools, power tools, and torque tools safely and accurately
Verify proper wire routing, separation, labeling, termination, and torque
Maintain high workmanship standards for panel cleanliness, organization, and overall quality
Inspect completed work to ensure panels are ready for quality control
Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
Assist with training or supporting other electrical assembly employees as needed

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical assembly, control panel wiring, or related electrical experience required
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
Experience with electrical control panel assembly and point-to-point wiring
Experience drilling, tapping, and performing basic mechanical fabrication
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, crimping tools, and torque tools
Basic working knowledge of electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent required
