Specialized Recruiting Group has partnered with a well-established professional services client in Northwest Oklahoma City on a direct-hire opportunity for an Experienced Public Accountant.

Our client has decades of experience providing accounting, bookkeeping, consulting, payroll, and tax services to a diverse portfolio of business clients.

The Opportunity

This position is ideal for an experienced public accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, preparing tax returns, and working independently in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare federal and state returns for corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and individuals.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Work with clients to gather information and resolve questions.
• Identify tax issues and planning opportunities.
• Maintain organized workpapers and client records.
• Use accounting and tax software, including QuickBooks and Lacerte.
• Assist with bookkeeping, accounting, and other client needs as necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax requirements
• Proficiency with accounting/tax software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Professional communication and client-service skills
• CPA, EA, or similar credential is a plus

Work Environment & Schedule

• Northwest Oklahoma City
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• One-hour lunch
• On-site; no remote work
• Private office

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000–$105,000 DOE
