QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece approvals and quality inspections.
• Program and operate CMM using PC-DMIS.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Use precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Create and maintain inspection procedures and work instructions.
• Train operators on quality standards and proper use of gauges.
• Maintain measurement equipment, gauges, and quality records.
• Support corrective actions, including SCARs.
• Work with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

• Support FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and APQP requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and APQP.
• Experience with PC-DMIS/CMM programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Proficient with measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Plus: Die-casting experience and Spanish-speaking skills.
