General Laborer

Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Laborers to join our client’s pharmaceutical facility in Lewisville, TX. This role focuses on prepping the assembly line, organization, and preparing pharmaceutical shipments for the next stage of the distribution process. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, following detailed procedures, and performing repetitive hands-on tasks.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and organize boxes along assembly lines to keep production moving efficiently
• Assemble and prepare shipping boxes for daily operations
• Fill prepared boxes with cooler packs and other required materials for pre-shipment
• Retrieve boxes and materials from different areas of the facility and transport them to designated work areas
• Organize and stage completed boxes and materials for the next step of the process
• Palletize smaller boxes and packages according to established procedures
• Safely plastic-wrap and secure completed pallets for shipment
• Assist with directing incoming trucks to the appropriate loading area using designated signage
• Place and remove wheel chocks/block stoppers under trucks once they are positioned in the designated area
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area throughout the shift
• Follow all facility procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Prepare completed orders for the shipping team to load onto trucks(not loading)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in assembly, production, fulfillment, pharmaceutical, or similar environments is a plus
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to safely move and organize boxes and materials throughout the facility
