Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Diesel Mechanic for a local diesel shop in Athens, Tennessee.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

•Inspect diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or fuel system problems.

•Conduct preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups, while repairing or replacing faulty components.

•Operate diagnostic tools and perform post-repair testing to verify equipment is functioning safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications.

Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:

•Technical knowledge and ability to read drawings, review, work orders, etc.

• Ability to use power tools and machines.

• Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, with or without reasonable accommodation.

1-2 years of experience required.

1st shift Monday-Friday $18-$20+ DOE

• Mon-Friday, 8am - 5pm

• Full-time
