Medical Assistant

Salary: 18-25

Here are the requirements:

• Medical assistant for the back office.
• Full-time
• $18 - $25 an hour depending on experience and ability to work without supervision.
• PRIMARY CARE EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
• RECENT GRADUATES CAN APPLY - TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

Clinical Duties
Patient Intake: Take history, perform screenings in person or import self administered screening through questionnaires
Record vitals: Measure blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight etc.
Lab Tests: Perform CLIA waived labs such as PT INR, A1C, Urine
Specimen Collection: Collection of specimen such as blood, etc
Diagnostic Tests: Perform tests such as ABI, Spirometry, EKG
Collect lab samples: Draw blood, collect specimens, and run basic laboratory tests.
Perform diagnostics: Perform EKG, ABI, Spirometry etc.
Sterilize equipment: Clean and sanitize exam rooms and medical instruments.
Administrative Duties
Order supplies: Order and maintain medical supplies inventory and perform preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
Transition Care Management: Document ADT notifications and prepare for discharge follow ups
Pre Visit Prep: Prepare for next day visits by reconciling Pop Health measures with missing gaps to be addressed during the patient's visit.Prescription Prior Auth: Request Prior Auth for medications.
