Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of transformer components using a variety of hand tools, shop equipment, and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, woodworking, or metalworking and be eager to learn and grow within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble transformer components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Cut, bend, shape, and modify metal parts using a variety of fabrication tools and equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production drawings.
• Use equipment such as band saws, drills, grinders, sand blasters, and other fabrication tools.
• Perform assembly, fitting, and finishing of manufactured components.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Assist with additional manufacturing and production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, metalworking, or related trades.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience cutting, shaping, and fabricating metal components.
• Construction, building, manufacturing, or woodworking experience is a plus.
• Experience with brazing, torching, or welding-related processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the organization.
