Salary: $22 - $27/hour

We are currently seeking skilled machine operator candidates for a 1st shift opportunity with a client in Delavan, a metal fabrication company.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform close tolerance machining operations such as centering, drilling, reaming, tapping, turning, milling, deburr at back side, file and/or sand
• Operate multiple machines
• Operations may vary with approval of supervisor to compensate for variations in material and machining operations
• Dress, grind or sharpen tools as necessary
• Lubricate machines as needed with oil, grease and coolant
• Work from drawings specifications and job layouts using a variety of measuring instruments
• Make machine and tool adjustments as needed
• Obtain and return tools as required
• Learn to make offsets and change tooling 

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
• Maintain clean and orderly work area, including equipment and perform all assignments in safe manner
• Exhibit core values of integrity and accountability
• Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak, hear and interpret documents and instructions from both verbal and written English
• Perform basic math calculations   
• Ability to work at established levels of production 
• Ability to lift and carry of up to 50 pounds safely 

Schedule: 5am - 3pm Mon - Thurs

 

Pay: $22 - $27/hr depending on experience
