Hardscape Laborer

Located in Bainbridge Island, WA

Overview: Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a motivated and dependable Hardscape Laborer for a growing outdoor construction and landscaping company serving residential customers throughout Kitsap County and surrounding areas. This position will support the installation of retaining walls, paver patios and walkways, concrete projects, and other outdoor living features. The role will begin as a temporary, as-needed assignment with the opportunity for long-term or permanent employment for the right candidate. 

 

JOB DUTIES: 

• Assist with the installation of retaining walls, patios, walkways, driveways, and other hardscape features 

• Prepare job sites by grading, excavating, and moving materials 

• Install pavers, block systems, gravel, and landscape materials 

• Pour, finish, and assist with concrete projects 

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment safely 

• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites 

• Measure, level, and align materials according to project specifications 

• Maintain a clean and organized worksite 

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions 

• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times 

Requirements: 

• Previous hardscape, landscaping, construction, masonry, or concrete experience preferred 

• Experience building retaining walls and installing pavers required 

• Valid driver's license required 

• Clean driving record required 

• Reliable transportation required 

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly 

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance 

Hours/Shift: Day Shift | Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on project schedules and weather conditions. 

 

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour DOE
