Salary: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Express Employment Professionals seeks a reliable, safety-focused CDL- Class A Driver to support our client’s team during an employee's medical leave. While this position is temporary, it has the potential to become a full-time, long-term opportunity based on business needs.

Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday Ι 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM – No weekend or overnight routes

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to customer locations while providing exceptional customer service.
• Verify delivery instructions, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Load, unload, inspect, and properly secure materials for transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain DOT-compliant logs and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Utilize GPS, maps, bills of lading, and onboard technology to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, putting away, order picking, and loading/unloading trucks when not making deliveries.
• Inspect materials for accuracy and damage and help maintain an organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience.
• Previous customer service experience with a professional and positive attitude.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to safely load, unload, secure, and handle materials.
• Forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
• Flexible team player who can easily transition between driving, warehouse, and operational duties as business needs change.
• Willingness to assist wherever needed and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic.

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must successfully complete all required DOT screenings, including DOT drug testing and national database checks.
