Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced bilingual construction crew leader to supervise and coordinate construction crews on job sites. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, have strong leadership skills, and understand construction processes, safety procedures, tools, and job-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate construction crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Communicate daily assignments, job expectations, and safety requirements to employees in English and Spanish.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew leaders.
  • Read and understand construction plans, drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
  • Train new employees on proper work procedures, equipment, tools, and safety practices.
  • Monitor job-site productivity, quality of work, attendance, and overall crew performance.
  • Ensure employees follow OSHA, company, and job-site safety requirements.
  • Operate and oversee the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Assist with material handling, site preparation, installation, demolition, framing, concrete, or other construction duties as needed.
  • Identify job-site issues and communicate them to management promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Help ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed.
  • Complete daily reports, timekeeping, production updates, and other required documentation.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Construction Crew Leader, Foreman, Lead, or experienced Construction Laborer.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of general construction practices and job-site safety.
  • Ability to lead a team and hold employees accountable for quality and productivity.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, or construction drawings is preferred.
  • Ability to use common construction tools and equipment.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, climb, and work for extended periods as required.
