Graphic Designer – Sign & Print Production

Pay: $18.00/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Shreveport, LA

Position Overview

A local sign and printing company is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join its team. This position will focus on creating and preparing professional graphics for signs, banners, decals, printed materials, and other custom projects.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and understands how to take a customer's concept and turn it into a clean, production-ready design.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit graphics for signs, banners, decals, displays, and other printed products
• Design layouts based on customer specifications, artwork, and branding
• Prepare digital artwork and files for print and sign production
• Resize, modify, and recreate customer-provided artwork as needed
• Ensure designs meet proper dimensions, resolution, color, and production specifications
• Make revisions based on customer feedback
• Work closely with production staff to ensure designs translate correctly to finished products
• Maintain organized digital files and customer artwork
• Review designs for accuracy before sending them to production
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Adobe Photoshop experience required
• Adobe Illustrator experience required
• Previous graphic design experience required
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, sizing, and visual design
• Ability to create and modify vector graphics
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Ability to accurately follow customer specifications
• Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in sign design, large-format printing, print production, vinyl graphics, or a sign shop is highly preferred

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• $18.00 per hour
• Paid holidays
• 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year of employment

Ideal Experience

Candidates with previous experience as a Graphic Designer, Production Artist, Sign Designer, Print Designer, Prepress Designer, or Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop Designer are encouraged to apply.
