Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced Plant Maintenance Technician for an established company in the Mt. Morris, PA area.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping a facility running safely and efficiently.

Pay & Schedule

• Up to $25.00 per hour, based on experience

• Monday–Friday day shift

Plant Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on plant equipment and machinery

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Diagnose equipment problems and complete necessary repairs

• Maintain and repair production and facility equipment

• Work with motors, pumps, conveyors, machinery, and other industrial equipment

• Perform basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs as needed

• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

• Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues before they result in downtime

• Replace worn, damaged, or defective components

• Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, and repairs

• Read and follow equipment manuals, work orders, diagrams, and maintenance instructions

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

• Keep the maintenance area and work areas clean and organized

• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

• Assist with general building and facility maintenance as needed

• Respond to equipment issues and help minimize production downtime

What We're Looking For

The ideal Maintenance Technician will have hands-on experience repairing and maintaining industrial, manufacturing, production, or plant equipment.

Qualifications may include:

• Previous industrial, plant, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience

• Experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems is a plus

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings, schematics, or equipment manuals

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma/GED preferred

PLC, welding, fabrication, HVAC, plumbing, or additional electrical experience is a plus.
