Apply IN PERSON Monday-Friday 10am-3pm. HURRY! Only one position open. The Stockroom Clerk will receive, identify, store, disburse, and inventory materials and parts for manufacturing in accordance with material requisitions and shop orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives written and verbal instructions from supervisor.
• Meets acceptable time/work standards.
• Keeps immediate work area and entire stockroom clean and orderly.
• *Operates fork truck and walk behind lift.
• Visually inspect parts and material for quality.
• Conduct quarterly and yearly inventories as required.
• Staff the parts counter for disbursement of personal protective and safety equipment, general supplies, and first aid supplies.
• Complete appropriate paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Check-in and store parts and material as received from vendors, matching the information on the packing slip with the purchase order.
• Notifies supervisor of unusual conditions of parts, material, or equipment.
• Crates and packs parts for drop shipment as required.
• Processes bills of lading as required.
• Maintain inventory records and notify supervisor and purchasing department as to shortages at the prescribed order points.
• Work in accordance with established safety policies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in large equipment manufacturing and assembly environment.
• Knowledge of organizing, managing, and updating stockroom inventories.
• Forklift experience and license (preferred).

Technical Skills

• The ability to operate data entry systems.
• Effective attention to detail.
• Strong computer and technology skills.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements 

Must be able to stand/walk 8 hours a day, and 10 hours when needed.

*Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Capability of operating equipment such as a forklift and pallets.

Heavy lifting for most of the day.
