Maintenance Technician

Located in Anaheim, CA

Salary: $25 - $32

Position Title:  Maintenance Mechanic Technician    

Exempt/Non-Exempt:   Hourly/Non-Exempt       

Functional Area:  Maintenance / Facilities

Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00/hr

Schedule: M-F 6 AM - 2:30 PM

 

Major Function:

To support production and facility operations by performing maintenance, repair, inspection, and related support duties on equipment and work areas, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, machining support, preventative maintenance, forklift inspections, gas level inspections, supply ordering, custodial work as needed, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

 

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures as required.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work as needed.
• Service and repair furnaces, ovens, cutting machines, and sanding machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with maintenance scheduling.
• Work with Engineering in the design and fabrication of fixtures using lathes, mills, and grinding machines.
• Complete daily inspections of forklifts.
• Complete daily inspections of Nitrogen and Hydrogen levels.
• Order supplies and parts as needed.
• Perform custodial work as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Carry out written and verbal instructions.

 

Education / Training:

Degree:   High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school or vocational training preferred. OSHA certifications preferred.

 

Experience:

Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Forklift experience preferred.
